Eps 221, 222: Gervais and clashing of the titans

Thursday started out with a hilarious new app for the iPhone that sneezes like Adam Sandler, who is one of my many favorite comedians. Then showed the new one called "Jersey Shore Yourself" where you can make yourself look like a member of the Jersey Shore. He introduced others, but they were not as funny.

Put it in Reverse, which is the new game where competing/acting in scenes backwards then playing it forward successfully and the best makes you the winner. It actually turned out really good considering that the players are not actors, or have any experience with it.

Ricky Gervais only watches his own show, other than the crazy reality shows here in the states like the Real Housewives of New York. Ricky also showed a clip of his animated series on HBO of conversations between him and his buds called "The Ricky Gervais Show".

Anthony Mackie was in the awarding winning "Hurt Locker" and is currently on Broadway in "A Behanding in Spokane" He also likes to do impersonations of Tracey Morgan and loves the New Orleans Saints.

Country singer Easton Corbin ended the show with his first #1 song, "I'm a little more country than that".

Friday:
Weekly thank you card writing was the intro to the episode Thursday. Many included, Ricky Martin for obviously coming out of the closet, and apparently she bangs, she bangs - everyone except for him (this was not called for, I love Ricky). Also he thanked the 40ish year-old man who is also named Justin Bieber, who will have to explain who he is the rest of his life.

Jimmy then wanted to add in his thoughts a new upcoming movie.

Sam Worthington, who was in the blockbuster "Avatar", was on the show to promote the new remake "Clash of the Titans". He talked about being an Aussie, and using his experience working with CGI on Avatar to help him with the new movie.

Editor and chief of engaget.com, Joshua Topolsky, came onto the show with an iPad to show us all why we need to get one, and the best things about it. For example it has a user interface, meaning that it is exactly like an iTouch or iPhone. It also takes away the need for a Kindle, and every other device you have right now. And it only starts at $500 for 16GB of storage and can go up to just over $829 with 3G.

Liquid Liquid performed.
