Eps 220: Dancing on air, then racing blimps with Tyler Perry

The segment "dancing on air" is, I believe, the most creative and simple so-called game on late night television. This time it was not the usual college aged contestants being stupid, two of them were middle aged men that had spunk. For this reason I have decided to start out with this instead of the usual multiple subject monologue. Enjoy.

Tyler Perry talked about shooting in the Bahamas and hating it because of the huge moths that infested the set. Personally I would deal with any phobia and chilling bug/animal to be on the beach in the Bahamas, but Tyler Perry is a wussy and a damn funny one at that. He produces movies/TV shows and is on tour. He is the male version of Oprah.

The funniest part of the night was the splash shields and clear ponchos that The Roots were wearing during Dan Dunn's Paint Jam. He was a very interesting and talented painter who worked magic in about five minutes.

Musical guest: Drive-By Truckers.

Don't get me wrong, all of Jimmy's guests are funny and most of the time interesting. Lately I just feel like its not up to the standards that it once was. I use to laugh constantly, not its just maybe one or two good laughs. I hope that its just a low point and it kicks back into high speed.

Eps 219: Another disappiontment

So, I am excited to see Fred because he is one of my favorites on SNL. Only one thing is keeping me from this... and that is Episode 4 of "Late". Once Jimmy got through the monologue and the set up for his version of "Lost", there was break and then part two of "Late". The acting is kinda bad and not really funny, but the fact that it is Jimmy and a bunch of weirdos on a secret floor is kinda hilarious. I'm a little confused why Higgins is recording a journal entry... OH, and 10 minutes of the first 15 were this episode of "Late"

And now onto Fred Armisen and his requested standing ovation as he walked out for the interview. He is just a funny person, one of those that is quick and comes up with the weirdest thing to talk about. I love those who can do that and not harp on their own horrible lives. He then showed a hilarious picture of himself as a teenager... at the end of the interview plugged SNL's upcoming episode with host Tina Fey and Justin Bieber.

Next was Chuck Liddell talked about being the coach on a show called "The Ultimate Fighter 11" and also gave lessons to Jimmy and Fred. It was HILARIOUS. They event acted out a little skit leading up to Jimmy putting Fred into a choke hold.

Comedian Moshe Kasher had his network TV debut.

Eps 218: Not what I expected... pure dissappointment.

March Madness has upset the entire nation just as Sandra's cheating husband?

On Celebrity Apprentice, Darryl Strawberry was kicked off because he was exhausted. I don't know who that is, I really only watched it the first season and was done with that show because it is just ridiculous how many times Omarosa comes back. She scares me and I cant risk seeing her just for the nightmares to come back where she was my future evil boss.

Slow Jam the news with Brian Williams was an instant hit, jamming about the signing in of the health care bill, and Jimmy got Williams to say Mark Weiner, who was the congressman who had white powder sent to him in a package over the weekend. I wish I could say that the next segment with Santana was exciting and hilarious, but instead of a hit, it was a miss. Sorry Jimmy, but mustaches in a fighting ring... seriously?

Jeff Goldbloom talked about long-short hair, hair plugs, and toupees for the first few minutes of his interview. Not like your days during Jurassic Park, Goldbloom you have lost your spark and yet you still have that dorky kid handsomeness. Playing the piano and skating with Jimmy is not cool either, not cool.

Jennifer Morrison was inspired in kindergarten to be on stage and wanted to be on Broadway ever since, now she is. AND has a twitter, who is also jealous of Abigail Breslins YoAbbaAbba twitter name.

Julian Casablancas... on tour now, check it out here.

Sorry, there is not video. I did that for a reason, to spare you from a bed episode.
